To be enjoyed without moderation in your favorite hamburger.

Ingrédient:

  • 3–4 Opuntia Ficus Indica pads
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 big pinch of coriander leaves
  • 1 big pinch of salt

Étapes:

  1. Remove the glochids from the pads by scraping them off with a knife.
  2. Cut the pads into 1 cm strips.
  3. Place them in a pot with the halved onion, salt, whole garlic, and coriander.
  4. Cover with water and cook for 15–20 minutes, until they have the texture of cooked beans or when the green color becomes lighter.

It’s also very delicious with garlic butter — try both versions!
