Founded in 1976 by Pierrette and André, the company began with a whimsical dream — to grow desert plants right here in Quebec. Their honeymoon mission? Fill an entire truck with cacti. And they did it!
More than forty years later, the passionate team now consists of two dozen permanent employees, and 300,000 units are produced annually in the greenhouses.
Over the years, the company has kept innovating to improve its facilities. Today, its new 15,000-square-foot, cutting-edge greenhouse complex makes it possible to offer a greater variety and better quality, while reducing the use of energy, water, and fertilizers.
From the very beginning, Le Cactus Fleuri has made it a point to include people facing employment challenges. Over the years, this commitment has grown into a true social mission that continues to this day.
